My job as set dresser for QVC required me to dress the background of sets and provide the furniture and set-ups needed for live shows. I worked closely with a team of floor assistants to create a space for each show which had the correct aesthetic and feel for the particular product being sold. Live television perfected my ability to work under pressure, in a team and on time.

 

• Changing up to 11 sets per day

• Working closely with clients and teams to create the best look for shows

• Sole control over the set department during my shifts

• Working quickly and decisively under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Working with the promotional and PAC shot teams creating looks for live and non-live advertisements

• Understanding time sensitive situations and planning my work day accordingly to ensure that everything ran smoothly

• Comfortably working on my own and in a team
